Nathan Winstanley is the former President and Founder of Winstanley Partners, a full-service marketing communications agency, and Learning Solutions/Winstanley, a new media development firm, both located in Lenox, Mass.He founded and ran the companies successfully for 30-plus years, deciding in late 2017 to close the doors and move into the next phase of his career as a marketing communications consultant.Nathan has extensive experience in strategic brand development and brand launches for a diverse number of clients in the consumer, corporate and technology sectors for which he and his staff have orchestrated everything from naming to market launch. Among these recent clients are Pelican Progear, GE Energy Storage and MEVION Medical Technology.He founded Winstanley Partners in 1986 and focused the agency’s goals on intensive market comprehension, powerful creative work and integrated programming.Winstanley Partners’ clients included: Pelican, Spalding Sporting Goods, Smith and Wesson, Polar Beverages, and DuPont, to name a few. The agency’s work won many awards at both the national and regional levels.In 1994, Nathan founded Lenox Softworks (now Learning Solutions/Winstanley) with two top academics from Rensselaer’s Multimedia Lab to merge their expertise with the marketing needs of the agency’s clients. That company served as the digital development team for Agency clients.He began his formal business career following a stint in the Peace Corps, working as a business and economics writer. Later, he worked as a corporate speechwriter, after which he joined GE Plastics as a communications manager.He has spoken on emerging creative trends in several venues in the Northeast and served on numerous boards including Shakespeare and Company, Berkshire Council for Growth, and the Massachusetts Governor’s Competitiveness Council.
