Experienced Network Systems Administrator with a history of persistence and eagerness in high-pressure and high fidelity situations working with Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls, Windows and Linux Operating Systems, VMWare VCenter/VSphere, ESXI Hosts, Dell and HP Servers, installing, configuring, securing, and managing all in support of National Intelligence Operations.Developing a passion for Information Technology at a young age, Nathan was almost inseparable from his shiny screen. With his curious mind, this magic allowing his devices to all connect quickly gained his interest. When Nathan sets his mind on something to learn, he never stops until he is unable to learn anymore. This fire of passion continues to grow into a blaze of persistence devouring all of the knowledge of his interests available to him.Raised with a mind for problem solving and figuring out his own solutions, Nathan was a step ahead of his peers throughout his childhood, allowing him to have more opportunities to learn and explore his interests. Throughout a dual-enrollment program at the local community college, Nathan challenged his interests and continued to grow. The desire to go to college subsided temporarily at a glance of the tuition, and soon decided to pursue military training in his passion. Fast forwarding to the present, Nathan has served 4 years in the Air Force managing a secure Network System with the requirement for high fidelity and little downtime. Within this environment Nathan learned how to quickly and efficiently install, configured, secure, upgrade, and manage all the network systems required to host a National Intelligence Mission. His passion growing ever bright, he is excited to finally have the ability to pursue a career of his dreams and attend the college necessary for further growth.
