Played key role in the ground-floor transformation of CPS’s entire IT department. -Created key technology items that were utilized by nine different teams. This included a base-line API and UI written in Angular and .NET core.-Mentored staff in newer technologies to get the teams running from day one. This included hosting training classes in Angular/.NET core and the key differences from currently utilized technologies.Played key role in Azure Migration.-Created some of the first ‘Proofs’ for items including continuous integration, utilizing cloud-based GIT (Azure Dev-Ops), and many other Azure services.-Participated in original scoping of the project from costs to serving as a source of information for what the company would need technologically.‘Tech Lead’ for a 2+ year agile project using the above baseline technologies.-This project consisted of a network of 4 interconnected APIs and 7 Angular UIs-Led a group of 5-7 people (including 3 developers, 1-2 QA, 1 product owner and myself as the Tech Lead)Played key role in building the team.-The team grew 3-5 fold over its transformation, I played a key role in the interviewing and hiring process.

At Tail Wind I have performed a few different roles and have worked with a large swath of tools. However, my focus has been mainly in the .NET and SQL server worlds, which can include a host of other tools including SSRS, SSIS, MVC, Angular and many others. My clients have included, but are not limited to:MMIC, CHS, Productivity, and HBCThese roles are also listed in my profile individually.

While at MMIC I created a new 'Online Application' process for customers to apply for insurance. This website was created using .NET CORE, Angular and has a SQL backend. This code has also been incorporated into their 'Claims' process as well as being explored as an option for a new business arm. This additional functionality will end up driving business to MMIC in a way that they have not had access to in the past. The site included some complex validation and work flows as well.

At the DOT, I took part in a small team, agile operation to rewrite an aging permit tracking system from Java into ASP.NET and MVC. The site also contained various jQuery and Infragistics controls.

At CHS I worked on no less than 30 websites, a small pile of SQL databases, and a few projects. The bulk of the work was in MVC, Webforms, Jquery and SQL. I was a key asset in the agronomy department, and helped roll out a good number of improvements and new applications to key systems involved in tracking fields, fertilizer, and crops.

At Hallmark I was originally brought on as a 'Software Lead' to help bring some Jr. level developers up to speed on everything from development to the corporate 'lifestyle'. Teaching them best practices and getting asked some really tough questions along the way, has really helped me concrete my skills. There really isn't anything like it!My role also included development on their products. This included work in C#, MVC, WebForms, MSSQL, and a whole pile of other things.While I never lost the role as a 'Lead' to the team, I was extended to develop and overhaul HBC's reporting platform using SSRS 2012, and MSSQL.

Tech: MSMQ, SSRS, ASP.NET, WCF, Windows Services, and SQLHelped build out a large asynchronous system using MSMQ, several SQL boxes, reports, and a ASP.NET front end. This was a great project and the end product works really well, is resilient to connectivity loss, and provides awesome information!I am very proud of the outcome and thankful to have been part of the 'small' team.

As a consultant for Dow Jones, in the MarketWatch.com division of MN, I helped develop new features, fix bugs, and help with the overall stability of the website. I really enjoyed this project due to its high visibility and I got to work with some really talented people.

At RBA I was a 'Microsoft Technologies Consultant'. I got to touch a multitude of different applications, and use technologies in fun new ways. I strengthened my skills around the .NET framework by large amounts by working with some very talented people.I had the privilege of working for many different clients while at RBA, including but not limited to: Blue Cross Blue Shield of LA, Best Buy, Cargill, and Bluestem

At Magenic I had the chance to work with many different clients and use many different technologies but the two big projects I had were SSRS and Webforms/ASP.NET/C#.I became a virtual expert in SSRS here over a 6 month project. I am appreciative of this because this skill has come in handy over the years!

At LSI, I got to work on a large C# application. At the time it was probably one of the largest applications I had touched. The main things I took away from this were, coding practices and ways to lay out large applications. In a way, I could say, that I still use this today when scoping and estimating large applications.

At Barron County, I assisted in the development of database's to help organize student records. This included writing scripts and doing some front end development.
