Executed and oversaw geological operations in the Delaware Basin, TX and the Denver-Julesburg Basin, CO.Managed and maintained well data and geological mapping in Petra, Kingdom, and StarSteer software.Geosteered over 70 wells with a cumulative >85% in-zone percentage along 600,000’ lateral length.

Permian Delaware Basin:Created well plans and executed geological operations for multiple stratigraphic drilling targets in Wolfcamp, Bone Spring, and Brushy Canyon Formations. Responsible for Bone Spring and Wolfcamp prospect evaluation, development mapping, and production forecasting to assist with business development planning and potential acquisitions.Collaborated with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to ensure geological alignment.Austin Chalk Reservoir Characterization:Assessed the reservoir potential of the Upper Cretaceous Austin Chalk Formation within the Gulf Coast Basin, Texas. Evaluated resource sweet-spots through refined mapping, well scouting, geosteering, and OBO knowledge sharing.Responsible for creating an appraisal drilling program and evaluating EUR forecasts associated with future drilling locations.Anadarko Basin:Responsible for geological characterization of Late Devonian/Mississippian STACK plays in Blaine, Kingfisher, and Canadian Counties, Oklahoma.Assisted in identifying the driving mechanisms for production in Meramec and Woodford appraisal programs, and applied technical learnings to offset effects of pressure depletion and fluid communication within the reservoir.

Industry aligned research with the Slope and Basin Consortium characterized the sedimentology and stratigraphy of deep-water outcrops worldwide. Collected and analyzed geological data from deep-water outcrops in New Zealand, Italy, Spain, France, and California, and helped produce five guidebooks with the Slope and Basin Consortium.

Focused characterization of the Frontier Formation in the Powder River Basin utilizing a wide variety of data types (well logs, core, 3D seismic, geosteering analysis, and production data).Identified variation within the reservoir using a sequence stratigraphic approach and tied to OBO production near Devon operated acreage.

Collaboration with a small team in Exploration Services to drill research wells and collect seismic data throughout the U.S. Mobilized and maintained equipment used during drilling operations and acquisition of seismic data, and analyzed well cuttings and core samples on-site.Responsible for designing and fabricating mobile seismic vehicles contracted by the U.S. Army for detecting underground tunnels worldwide.
