I have 15 years of software industry experience in a variety of different roles. Across all of them, I've worked to deliver experiences that will delight the user while deliver crucial business goals.For the past 10 years I've worked in the mobile space, helping Fortune 500 companies across various industries deliver amazing mobile applications. I began by working on direct coding and have since moved on to architecting large applications and managing large multi-national teams to develop engaging Android and iOS based applications.Prior to working in the mobile space I worked on embedded code, working on code from assembly language boot strap code to C code to run on micro-controllers to large Java applications. I've worked on teams developing award winning products and shown an ability to innovate by being a named inventor on more than 10 different US patents.In my dissertation for my masters degree I researched content recommendation for social networks (Twitter, in particular) and how it might be able to be improved by combining a topology-based approach with a content-based approach using computational linguistics techniques. This also required dealing with vast amounts of data in an efficient manner.
