Altiform is a manufacturing/fabrication company producing and distributing high end street furniture for Cox Urban Furniture and custom structures for public open spaces, typically selling to developers, landscape contractors, builders and councils.Reporting to the Directors, my role as Operations Manager was very diverse. I oversaw all aspects of the day to day running of the business. This included managing a team of up to 15 employees, contracts administration and project management, estimating and tendering, procurement nationally and internationally, 2D AutoCAD drafting, monthly stock take and management reporting to the accountants.

My role in design drafting and development was primarily to give support to new and existing clientele whilst assisting the sales team in providing maximum storage space efficiently within the available working space and to their budget. Once signed off by the client, I obtained structural certification if required and produced detailed drawings for fabrication or information was provided to suppliers overseas for manufacture. Installer teams then utilised installation drawings to complete the project.To ensure the best products and accuracy were procured internationally, I made two trips to meet with multiple suppliers in various locations in China which resulted in new relationships and continued supply.
