Current➢ Define the tactical and strategic future of four teams to improve company productivity.➢ Grew a single team of four into four teams of thirteen total engineers.➢ Recruit, interview, hire, mentor, and develop engineers to create and build teams which achieve LinkedIn’s internal strategic goals.➢ Created a global SRE team providing full-stack data driven support, automation, and dev-ops for tier-1 services. o Identified a need for Enterprise SRE at LinkedIn and convinced leadership to enable me to create anddefine this new practice. o Built the team from a single engineer to a team of five direct US reports and a total global ten engineer (dotted-line) headcount. o Worked closely with leadership of Marketing, Sales Systems, and internal Software Systems to supportand enhance key supported applications.➢ Lead an Application Engineering team focusing on migrating LinkedIn to Azure, defining enterprise architecture, and large-scale collaborative technologies. o Created the service migration to Azure framework and led implementation through the “Odyssey”program to move LinkedIn’s Enterprise data-center footprint to the cloud. o Developed team engineers through career progression to staff engineer, leads, and a management track under me to delegate team management to.➢ Lead a global data visualization team to develop both tactical platform capabilities and long-term strategy. o Onboarded multiple technologies from an external team of five to my team of one (myself). o Grew the team to three engineers globally. o Developed multiple contractor resources to convert into Senior FTEs. o Designed the architecture and led the projects which improved availability from 70% to 99.99% andperformance from 120s to 20s.➢ Own vendor management, licensing, and budgeting for an annual budget of $17m. o Engage in the RFP process, draft SOWs, and evaluate contracts. o Manage renewals, true-ups, and expansion of a catalog of 30+ services.
