As the Director of Training, I will be primarily responsible for the creation, dissemination, and implementation of new training processes and procedures for the brand. I will also facilitate in-store and restaurant support center training and be responsible for the logistics and execution of the New Store Opening training procedures as we expand the brand.
Director Of Restaurant Management: Kansas And Missouri Area
As the Director of Restaurant Management in Colorado, I was in charge of opening and overseeing the new markets of Kansas and Missouri. It was my responsibility to monitor the training of the new partner for the Blue Springs, Belton, and Wichita location and supervise the store's opening. I also had the opportunity to overhauled our previous store opening program so we could give the new employees the tools to be successful at their job and ensure the guest had a positive experience. While at these openings, I would oversee everything that would take place in the business from food orders, staffing, scheduling, store organization, training too community engagement to ensure consistency within the brand and new market. During one of the openings, we ended up moving a different direction with the management of the business. Foreseeing the future issues that would arrive without stable leadership and the impact it would have on the inevitable growth of the store, I made the quick decision to relocate my family to MO so I could take direct control of the location and reset the store. During my time as the operator of the location, I began to train my replacement and develop the entire staff, while becoming connected to the community to ensure the future growth would flourish. While acting as the operator of the store, I efficiently lowered all of our controlled cost to the required levels within a month and a half. During this time we went through a successful first holiday season, and I brought on the future General Manager of another location opening in Q2 to begin their training all the while assisting where I could with the other two locations in MO/KS.

As a Director of Restaurant Management for the Four Foods Group - Kneaders Bakery and Cafe brand. It is my primary focus to improve the new and existing stores by assisting with the development of tactical, strategic plans and ensuring the completion of each, holding individuals accountable for assigned tasks.While working in Utah overseeing a few of the locations within the state, I took on the opportunity to add the burgeoning Colorado market to my area. I proceeded to supervise the open of every single one of the 10 locations in Colorado and support their developing market. There came to a point where I had to choose to move my family to Colorado so I could directly oversee the growth and management of the businesses. In this role, I worked with ten owner-operators totaling over $15 million in sales annually one on one to manage restaurant profits and loss and assist them in analyzing the factors that impact each line item to accomplish our financial targets. It is my vision to impart leadership principles to our owners through taking ownership and accountability for our actions. I help the owner achieve this by empowering them to make educated business decisions for their store's and support them through active mentoring. I also managed a team of seven executive trainers who I use strategically to develop the state through hands-on training with the staff and to fix issues that I have determined to have an adverse impact on the businesses. My team and I believe it is essential to serve the owners to promote a team environment and always to act in the stores best interest. We accomplish this by focusing on the opportunities that are around us no matter how adverse the situations may be. We strive to have solutions for every problem and not a problem for every solution.
