I've been solving problems and building solutions for business challenges for the financial services vertical for more than 25 years. I've worked in every aspect of software production, starting from entry-level administrative support and moving up the ranks through technical support, reporting/analytics, engineering, engineering leadership, and management. I've been an individual contributor and I've run entire departments. I've been there through every major software industry development since 'the web' in the late 90s. I've worked on every part of the modern software stack, from the front end all the way through to databases and back-end services. From on-premise monolithic desktop applications to distributed microsystems. All the while keeping up with new technologies and methodologies. I have a proven record of running engineering teams and departments to continuously deliver value to the end users and my employer's bottom line. At the end of the day I love programming and working together with other engineers to realize our potential and deliver high-value, extremely stable solutions to the end user.
