As an AI & ML Consultant at 3Gi Technology, I lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced AI solutions using AWS. Successfully advertised online and found six tutees between the ages of eleven and sixteen across a variety of abilities for weekly maths lessons. Regularly communicated in person and online with tutees, parents and guardians to ensure all parties were satisfied with the progress the pupils were making. All students experienced a large increase in their mathematical confidence with many improving by one or two GCSE grads through continued sessions.

Key achievements:• Designed, managed and delivered experimental research using Java and Matlab to design an automated analysis pipeline in Matlab to investigate how single bacteria decide their movement direction in groups of thousands. Research currently being prepared for publication.• Collaborated with colleagues from The University of Liverpool to develop a simulation in Matlab with the purpose of understanding a newly identified form of bacterial movement.• Attended and presented at a variety of conferences throughout my entire PhD, enjoying praise from fellow researchers and using their criticism to drive my own work forward.• Obtained six sponsors for a research symposium as Co-Treasurer of a graduate student research committee, presented research to members of the public at events and held roles on the university lacrosse committee including coach where I lead the team to a league winning season

Assisted home, international and exchange students from Nanjing China in completing their undergraduate laboratory modules, in particular, using Matlab to analyse the movement of light-sensitive plankton. Assessed laboratory notebooks, reports and presentations in accordance with department guidelines. Ensured high attainment levels in a challenging environment by teaching Matlab online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Managed and contributed to the development of a holographic microscope to monitor live samples of plankton in real time. Presented findings at the Giant Jamboree in Boston USA, and awarded a bronze medal.
