Providing commercial and financial insight to the Networks Technology function to effectively manage multi-year investment programmes including 4G rollout and network modernisation which total an annual capital investment of £900m+The first part of the role is to support the Technology Financial Controller to effectively control capital investment programs whilst ensuring the business can operate at appropriate speed. I provide insightful analysis on capital investment programs and operating costs to highlight risks, opportunities and assist in decision making.Key Accountabilities:- Ensure workflow is effectively managed within agreed service levels- Appropriate allocation of budgets on SAP- Provide business with status reports on capital investment programs- Provide Technology Financial Controller with analysis on operating costsThe second part of the role is to be a key finance link into CTIL (a site sharing JV with Telefonica) and involves giving support and challenge to CTIL to set and deliver challenging operating and financial plans. The role ensures Vodafone financial governance is applied to CTIL and that Vodafone maintains accurate budgets, forecasts and actuals aligning Vodafone books to the JV accounts as needed. The role has an input to Vodafone decision support ensuring that impacts on the JV are correctly reflected in business cases and that Vodafone decisions and forecasts are accurately reflected by CTIL.
