Designed and implemented both app and infrastructure for a highly performant, elastic, resilient GRPC API using golang and AWS ECS to process 1400 financial model executions per second with 10ms latency. Architected and rewrote mainframe big data batch apps to AWS using golang, python, Athena, and parquet, reducing runtime cost by over 90% through efficiency and auto-scaling, improving business analytics and prod support capabilities. Drove Jenkins CI/CD improvements for Java/Golang/Python apps using Docker, Terraform, AWS Lambda/ECS/Batch through inner-source tools and libraries and documentation for opinionated-but-flexible bootsrapping used by 15+ teams. Developed react bitbucket plugin via hackathon to increase company-wide collaboration and code reuse leading to many new inner source projects, which was adopted by inner source task force and deployed globally. Built golang Kafka producer & consumer examples for Avro, optimized for high throughput with configurable batch sizes, which was used as a template by other teams.

Implemented domain driven design principles for transition of a monolith C/CICS app to RESTful java/spring microservices enabling 3 teams to work in parallel delivering features faster and promoting shared APIs and libraries. Transformed testing practices via TDD using JUnit and Robot Framework, wrote guides on high value tests resulting in drastic reduction of time spent on tests as well as fewer bugs and defects. Built CI / CD pipelines in Jenkins, automated security scanning with sonar and veracode, optimized release approval flow, resulting in 8x more frequent production releases. Promoted test automation and Robot Framework, evaluated various testing strategies for both data driven and UI apps (Cucumber, JSpec, Spock, TestNG) leading to adoption across many teams and departments.
