As a chiropractor at Health First Chiropractic, I proudly serve the communities of north Alabama and am dedicated to helping people achieve optimal health. I have worked with patients of all ages and stages of life, from as young as 5 days old to patients well into their eighties. I have a special affinity for working with pregnant/postpartum moms, kids, and families. To this end, I am certified in Webster technique, an adjusting protocol specific for treatment during the months during and after pregnancy.

I independently owned and operated a chiropractic practice serving Baldwin and Mobile counties, focusing on gentle and effective chiropractic care for patients of all ages.

After the completion of my requirements in the Cleveland University-Kansas City outpatient clinic, I had the opportunity to serve as a chiropractic assistant. Through this experience, I was able to learn the business, insurance, billing, and compliance side of chiropractic practice. My duties included scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, checking on patient benefits, inputting insurance charges, and performing re-examinations and physiotherapy modalities.

As a final part of my chiropractic education, I had the opportunity to serve the Overland Park and greater Kansas City area at the Cleveland University-Kansas City outpatient clinic, performing chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic exercise programs, and soft tissue treatments for my patients under the supervision of licensed doctors of chiropractic.

The Signatry works alongside families, advisors, and ministries who are using God's generosity as a catalyst in fulfilling the great commission. When working over the summer months, I completed many different projects for The Signatry, focusing on the areas of research, content creation, editing, and social media.My projects include:- Contributing to an article that was published in the Metro Voice newspaper. Myself and two colleagues conducted city wide research in Kansas City on the rise of the unchurched Millennial population in America. We interviewed and met with 20 different pastors, summarized our findings, and then wrote both an article and a white paper.- Research on different cities in the United States, including historical and demographic information which was then synthesized into succinct reports- Researching and creating a strategy to grow the following of one of The Signatry's twitter pages- Ideation on website optimization- Blog and evergreen content creation- Interviewing new Signatry board members to aid in content creation for a new website - Data entry of information from IRS 990 tax forms

I had the opportunity to shadow a chiropractor once per week for a portion of a summer. My experience included time spent observing adjustment sessions, personal mentoring with two chiropractors, organizing informational packets, and working at the reception desk.
