Playing basketball, my favorite stat has always been the assist. Seeing someone on my team succeed and bring us closer to our collective goal always brings me more joy than hitting the shot myself. I believe whole-heartedly that that mindset has carried over into my life and my career path. I initially started my career coaching, wanting to climb the ranks for myself. However, as I worked a year in and year out with the athletes, I realized that the X's and O's, the wins and trophies weren't gratifying-- if anything, the opposite. It was when I began pouring into my student-athletes and building strong relationships that I felt that same passion and joy as I did growing up. That is why I understand my career mission and in my life is to assist others to reach their maximum potential. My interests and expertise in the field are in Operations, Communications, and Student Services-- which are the fields I intend to stay in throughout my career. I hope to find a career to help fulfill my purpose-- directing and developing those around me to utilize their strengths to the best of their abilities.
