I lead C-SPAN's coverage of elections for the U.S. House, Senate, and White House, as well as state and local elections of national importance.

I produced all aspects of a one-hour weeknight call-in program focused solely on the coronavirus pandemic as it first took hold in the U.S., including identifying themes for shows, booking guests, and creating all elements for the show.

I produced public affairs and political programming for the C-SPAN networks, usually from our HQ here in Washington, but also from the road. From 2015-16, I worked as part of the Road to the White House/Campaign 2016 team that produced thousands of hours of LIVE campaign coverage of more than two dozen presidential and vice presidential hopefuls from most of the United States. Highlights of that cycle I covered included Donald Trump's first primary win in New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton's clenching of the Democratic nomination by winning the California primary, and Senator Marco Rubio's final stand as a presidential candidate in his home state of Florida. I also worked on international programming, assisting our International Producer in identifying, obtaining, and producing coverage of foreign leaders, legislatures, and policy makers from the United Nations, the British House of Commons, and elsewhere overseas.

Served as the producer for the second season of C-SPAN's Landmark Cases series, a 12-episode deep dive into a dozen Supreme Court cases and rulings that had a lasting impact on American legal and civic life. This season of Landmark Cases won the 2018 CableFax Program Award for Best Public Affairs Show or Series.

Planes, trains, automobiles and more: If it was federal transportation policy, I was on it for Congressional Quarterly.

I covered national politics, legislative issues and personalities in Congress and at The White House and its agencies for The Detroit News. Also was a lead writer for 2010 mid-term election coverage, which included extensive travel throughout Michigan covering 15 U.S. House campaigns.

Reported on airlines, casino gaming, technology and the film industry for the business desk at The Detroit News. Previous areas of coverage included retail and residential real estate. I also traveled extensively, covering major business stories in Los Angeles, New York, Washington, and Atlanta.

Writing briefs and stories, helping coordinate photos and graphics.

Wrote metro news for the Eastside and ROP pages on everything from civic events to online pot dealers.
