I currently run the day-to-day operations of MyFrontPageStory.com while writing close to 550 stories per year and designing well over 600 each year. My duties as a Lead Writer also include being in charge of a team of freelancers and editing the stories they write during holiday rushes, along with handling phone interviews. My duties as Managing Supervisor also include being in charge of our interns each semester; printing, framing and shipping our stories; posting on our social media; running our advertising (Google and social); updating our website (including for SEOs); working on financials; partnership and customer relations; and thinking of business expansion ideas; among many other tasks to help keep the business running smoothly.I started as a social media and content creation intern with MyFrontPageStory.com before being promoted to running the business two months after obtaining my MA degree. In the past three years, I have also overseen an over 350% increase in sales for the business.I was previously a sports writer in college, and I also fulfilled the role of distribution manager.I previously worked part-time as the Communications Liaison for Medard’s House Youth Center (now known as the The Link 4 Youth) where I worked on social media posts and other forms of communication for them. I also previously wrote part-time for Fansided's baseball page BirdsWatcher.In the past I have interned for a minor league baseball team, assisted in teaching digital media and speech communication classes, ran the social media for Liberty University's Forensics Team, and have held other management and tutoring positions.At the end of the day, my true passion is for journalism and sports broadcasting, but I love expanding my horizons and challenging myself.
