• Responsible for the day to day activities of the systems engineering deployment team. This includes but not limited to resource allocation, order assignments, vendor coordination, statement of work proposals, scope definition, quote creation, project scheduling, and implementation planning. • Responsible for ensuring all team members are trained and have the proper resources to support newly released products and/or major system upgrades. This includes software and network configuration changes, as well as hardware replacements and upgrades. Work with product development teams to create and refine processes and procedures that are globally distributed.• Lead systems engineer for all major technical implementations, migration projects, and high-level escalations. Work with stakeholders to ensure that the project scope aligns with the business requirements, and internal change management policies. Work closely with the project teams to ensure delivery milestones are met in the proposed timeline. Work with management to ensure proper processes, resources and tools are in place to ensure successful completion. Leverage all contacts and all systems tools available to drive escalations to a timely resolution. Document and catalog resolutions and lessons learned to prevent re-occurrences.

Hardware problem resolution, support and maintenance assistance includes, but is not limited to, IBM-xSeries servers, RISC-6000, Solaris, HP-DL360-DL580 models, RAID-0/1/5/ storage devices, Laser/ink-jet color printers and proprietary trading equipment. • Server and workstation software support includes NT/2000/XP/W7/2003/2008 and AIX/Linux configurations. Server application support includes Active Directory, SQL, DNS, and DHCP services.• Connectivity support includes LAN/WAN, VPN, Cisco 1800/2600/ASA series routers, Cisco 2950 series switches, serial connections, PIX and checkpoint firewalls, hubs, lateral patch panels, workstation wall ports and cabling. • Solution support includes problem re-creation, research and resolution of new and on-going issues that are encountered in the field on service and system deployment calls. In addition to sharing the findings with global groups to ensure findings as shared with the company to eliminate redundancies and improve quality of service as a whole.
