I am a member of the Air Force ROTC at Detachment 890, based at the University of Virginia. As the supply liaison, I am responsible for tracking inventory and providing equipment for over 140 cadets from three universities. I was selected into the Graduate Law Program to commission as an officer in the Air Force JAG Corps in 2017.

I am a research assistant for Professor John Norton Moore, director of the Center for National Security Law and the Center for Oceans Law and Policy. I have edited a variety of publications including a national security law casebook and numerous academic papers presented at the annual Conference of the Center for Oceans Law and Policy.

Norfolk, Virginia Area

I was a summer intern at Defense Service Office Southeast at Naval Station Norfolk, the largest naval station in the world. I assisted judge advocates (JAGs) in researching legal issues related to courts-martial and non-judicial punishment hearings.

Greater Salt Lake City Area

As a member of the Credit Derivative Settlements team, I ensured that trades were booked correctly and that payments were made to the appropriate parties. I handled confidential information and resolved technical issues for over 100 clients, including large hedge funds.

I conducted research on American Civil War history, leading to the publication of a book - "Civil War Saints."

I graded papers and assignments for approximately one hundred students who were enrolled in religion courses.

I collected, documented, and summarized records of combat experiences during WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and current conflicts.

I taught an introductory biology course for over 150 undergraduate students. I aided the professors with addressing concerns and grading papers.
