Understanding the power of merchandising, leadership, and personal selling have allowed me to achieve great success throughout my time spent in the fashion/retail industry. I currently live in Aspen, Colorado furthering my knowledge in luxury/contemporary fashion as one of the men's buyers at Pitkin County Dry Goods. Prior to moving to Aspen I was a Personal Stylist at Nordstrom and enjoyed styling and assisting customers with their fashion needs. Within my time at Nordstrom I had been awarded the Customer Service All-Star Award and had achieved both the quarterly and annual Pacesetter. These accomplishments helped me to understand how important the relationship is with your customers and the effect that follow ups can have. Going into work with a positive attitude and an open mind is what I attribute most of my success to; as well as being able to deal with unexpected problems and being able to turn those negatives into positives. I would not be where I am today without following through with my education endeavors. Attending The University of Colorado at Boulder fostered my growth from a teenager to a young adult and allowed me to discover experiences that have drastically impacted my outlook on life. This outlook has become more open minded and adventurous while developing core values that will guide my decision making the rest of my life. My degree in Marketing from the Leeds School of Business provides me with a creative yet realistic approach to the problems I will face in the future. My life mission is that throughout my life I am going to do what I love and through the opportunities that come my way I will seize them will no regrets. Being continually proactive in discovering new adventures is the key to living out my dreams and passions.
