During the 2022-23 academic year, I assisted Dr. Mohammad Ayatollahi Tabaar with his research on Iran. I assisted with proofreading, copy editing, and researching topics related to Iranian politics and the Middle East.

Assisted the Human Rights section of the EU Delegation to the UN and covered matters related to the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly - Humanitarian, Social, Cultural Affairs, and Human Rights. • Helped to organize a virtual side event on political prisoners in Belarus during UNGA 75 with representatives from Belarusian civil society and relevant members of the UN system• Assisted in the coordination of outreach on Third Committee priorities related to human rights • Attended negotiations on A/RES/75/193 titled “Situation of human rights in the Syrian Arab Republic” and conducted background research on the situation in Syria

Earned academic credit as a teaching assistant for the Dutchess Community College/Vassar College Model United Nations program. • Held weekly office hours and was responsible for overseeing the coursework of two students in the class and at the 2019 National Model United Nations conference in New York City• Successfully assisted students in drafting speeches and editing position papers for the conference • Organized mock UN simulations for use in the class to prepare students for the Model UN conference
