I implemented systems changes while we merged under one platform. Took on the responsibility of Human Resource for my team in the absence of one on-site. Saw to it that business still performed at a top level during a difficult acquisition.To cut operational costs it was decided that this fulfillment center be closed and all logistics be serviced out of the Mid-West fulfillment center.I prepared the logistics to have all inventory and assets moved with minimal interruption to client services.

Managed the fulfillment and distribution operations for SwervePoint's enterprise and Fortune 500 clients.Responsible for total distribution center operations. Maintained 99.5 % on-time delivery, 99.9% order accuracy, and 98.5% same day inbound receiving. Managed and controlled storage and distribution activities to guarantee employee safety and maximum utilization of facilities. Oversaw precautionary logistics to secure warehouse contents against loss; evaluated inventory and prepared/reviewed all distribution documents.Designed and developed organizational policies and operational standards relevant to the departments. Full responsibility for inventory control. Duties included but not limited to cycle counting utilizing the ABC method, date sheets/push lists for perishables, inventory placement based on movement, and overall warehouse efficiency as it pertained to inventory. Knowledge of food safety and HACCP was acquired.Briefly, I assisted in implementing a transportation management system. I was trained by UPS Logistics on Roadnet/Cadec, a fleet management software system. I was responsible for optimizing trucking routes based on loads, receiving hours, and traffic density. I maintained a 12 vehicle fleet; handling driver expenses, damages, and ensured full DOT compliance.Overall I was trained in every function and aspect of the warehouse and would assist wherever I was needed.
