While in Minnesota temporarily, as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, I assisted in making hundreds of meals a day to be sent out to those at high risk to COVID regardless of their ability to pay.

I helped to lead and design a conference that dealt with real-life agendas exposing delegates to a breadth of international issues. This included creating and hosting a debate inviting over 500 students to discuss a framework for international response in mitigating potential conflict escalation in cyberspace.

As a result of my high academic standing, coupled with my performance in Model UN, I co-lead a panel to represent Green Hills Academy at the EU and UNICEF Human Rights day. It was a profound leadership experience to direct a discussion between the EU’s Ambassador to Rwanda, the country’s director for UNICEF, the Rwandan head of the Save the Children Fund, and the executive director of the National Commission for Children in Rwanda.
