During Summer 2020, I worked remotely as a Communications Intern with TiE Boston to manage their email marketing and review data analytics over the past 5 years. My day-to-day work included designing & copywriting various types of newsletters, event mailers, and announcements. Along with emails, I was tasked with developing a survey to update existing member data, automating TiE's data importing process, and assisting in their transition to HubSpot CRM. My long-term project over the course of this internship was compiling past email data into a comprehensive performance audit, analyzing & interpreting trends across key metrics, and developing recommendations to improve their communications program.

As a Digital Marketing Coordinator, I would conduct meetings with prospective leads to assess their online marketing activities, interpret their "symptoms" to identify a specific business problem, and develop a proposal that works within their budget. The clients we served were small business owners across various industries, who were often busy with growing their business and needed to hire a team to manage their marketing activities. Our past marketing programs have integrated tactics such as: brand & content development; web design & hosting, E-Commerce, and blogging; SEO & keyword marketing; email campaign development & automation, list management, and reporting; and social media & digital ad campaign management. Once they became a client, I was in charge of executing the project by delegating tasks to the team (and myself), monitoring our progress, and reporting back to the client on a regular basis. Internally, I was tasked with streamlining our client on-boarding process, asset management & presentation, and project management procedures by implementing a new platform for team communication.

Working as an Event Planning Intern, I assisted in organizing the annual Table Top Expo by recruiting new business, completing marketing tasks, and contribute ideas for rebranding. Duties included developing a marketing calendar, cold calling vendors, keeping track of contacts, designing the floor plan, writing press releases, and managing assets. This role also allowed me to network and make connections with several small business owners in the Springfield Area.
