I am a hard working individual who has an attention for detail and is determined to get things done as precise as I possibly can. In the past, I worked in a nursing home where those skills were key in accomplishing the job especially the latter. When I was working there, I took inventory of the medical supplies and after, buy certain ones that we were in need of. This had to be perfect in order to be able to treat the patients. This job made me learn new things pretty quickly. Learning new things comes naturally especially with with the health care field. Growing up, my father worked in a hospital and told me some of the ins and outs of the facility. He even took me there to meet some of his co-workers and I was fascinated at how he was able to get around there. So, when I got a job a hospital doing environmental services, it came naturally to me because I have an impeccable memory and can use that skill and the skill of attention to detail to help the day to day go smoothly. An example of this is when I take the trash out of the hospital. whenever I pick up a garbage bag, I always try to inspect it to make sure that there are not things in there that are not supposed to be. Eventually, I would like to move up the chain of command in either the EVS department, move around the hospital or go to another hospital to further my experience in health care.
