I love learning. Software engineering, cloud computing, ci/cd and DevOps, classical Greek history, psychology, outdoor leadership and wilderness survival, physics, and another few dozen lifetimes worth of topics could easily hold my attention for an entire day, either in conversation with another person or focused study on my own. While the course of my life would probably draw an interesting line on a map, I've come to see the common themes: systematic learning, methodical problem-solving, and careful investment in the people I'm around each day. Add a few miles on my bike to a day full of these, and I'll sleep well that night.While I've yet to find something I don't want to know more about, I've also taken the last few years to cultivate the rhythms to life that allow me to sustain my cadence. If you asked me to chart the course for the next years, I could give you a spectrum of options, but they would all involve diligent practice, considered priorities, and faithfulness to an overriding desire to contribute goodness to our world with each step, keystroke, and word, while maintaining a clear view of reality.
