Everybody that knows me knows I am a people person. It might have been the high school band, my experiences as a missionary in New York City, or teaching retired church-service volunteers at the Provo Missionary Training Center; no matter where I picked it up, I enjoy being with and serving people. Therefore, one of my must-haves while I consider a future career is to work with people and solve problems for them. What everybody might not know about me, however, is that I enjoy making connections across multiple disciplines when I learn new things. Taking accounting and economics together was as eye-opening as studying modern political philosophy alongside the New Testament. So, if you asked me about a second must-have, I would have to say that I want a career where I use interdisciplinary intuition to create structured solutions to solve complex problems.Because of those two must-haves, I decided to study Finance at the BYU Marriott School of Business.
