As a mission-driven architect, I am guided by the imperative for intersectional design and digital innovation towards more resilient and equitable built environments. To those ends, the integration of technology to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and sustainability, is not only exciting, but essential in our rapidly evolving world. Currently, I am a Design Architect at Jacobs in their Electroincs - Advanced Facilities department. Beyond my interests and skills with technical design, building science, and BIM technology, I also thrive as a collaborator amongst team members, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.I graduated with a Master’s of Architecture and a specialization in Sustainable Urban Design from the University of Oregon in Portland. While studying at UO-PDX, I was also a Graduate Teaching Fellow for the Building Enclosures course and one of the Fabrication Lab Technicians. Originally from the Midwest, I earned my Bachelors of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Between undergrad and graduate school, I had the opportunity to work in several small-to-medium sized firms in downtown Chicago and the Chicagoland area. I worked on projects ranging from Commercial Adaptive Re-use, Residential and Industrial new construction, and large-scale Restoration (airports) and Historic Preservation (high-rise) projects.
