As a first-year Master of Forestry student at Yale School of the Environment, I’m interested in finding ways to incorporate place-based and indigenous knowledge in cooperative public land restoration and management. Sustainable forest management in the face of climate change demands multiple perspectives, and I hope to develop a career in which I can include and learn from as many voices as possible in the forward-looking management of our shared public forest resources.
