His career began in Ohio, where he partnered with regional banks across the Midwest, focusing on high-volume commercial lending recruitment and supporting their expansion into new markets.He found his way to credit unions early in his career, working with a Kansas-based credit union to establish their commercial lending group. This experience sparked his passion for the credit union model and its mission to serve their members and the communities they support.For the past eight years at Smith & Wilkinson, a talent advisory based out of Southern Maine, Nathan has primarily partnered with credit unions and mutual banks ranging from $500 million to $5 billion in assets. His work focuses on delivering strategic solutions across leadership development, succession planning, executive search, and business development. Nathan and his team aim to be an extension of their clients’ brands and trusted consultants in the marketplace, ensuring their organizations are represented with integrity and professionalism.
