I am a sophomore at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am working towards a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in supply chain management and a collateral in business analytics. Throughout my academic and professional careers, I achieved the goals I set before myself and always stayed on top of things; I attribute this to my strengths in responsibility and building relationships as I am not afraid to utilize resources and ask for help to reach my goals. By using these strengths, I have received recognition, academically and professionally, for my work ethic, integrity, and ability to manage great amounts of work and responsibility. Regarding my career goals, I would like to work within the supply chain industry, specifically in procurement or transportation. I enjoy utilizing data and making decisions that greatly impact the grander processes of an organization, benefitting the multitude of departments, other organizations, and ultimately the world through this process. Having lived in Tennessee for the entirety of my life, I have seen how supply chain management is of great importance, often characterized by local hubs like Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville.
