I am a currently second-year student at Colby College, majoring in Biology, with a minor in Economics; as well as a member of the men's varsity rowing team. My passion for biology comes from a desire to dive deep into the science of what makes us, us, and how science can continue to better the quality of life for those with chronic illness, disease, and other ailments. In studying economics, I hope to better understand how the instruments and systems of financial markets impact the ability to create and implement solutions, and how these systems can be used to create net good as well. In addition to my academic activities, I chair the college's Student Advisory Board within the Center for the Arts & Humanities; am on the Executive Board of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, leading wellness initiatives; as well as being on the Men's Rowing team.
