I have been working with Children since I was a child myself. from the age of 12, I worked in the summer youth program and my first job was a day care assistant. I've been working ever since. I have worked many avenues with children. For the state of Kansas , I worked with Children in the foster care system. Afterwards, I worked with children with mental health problems and physical abuse. I then worked with children in the legal system of incarceration and now I have filtered my way back to children in foster care. I also in my private life was a praise dance/youth leader/choreographer/videographer for My church for the past 18 years. I worked in that capacity with boys and girls ages 4 to 17, teaching them how to offer praise to God through dance . The best advice I could ever give to one who seeks working with children, is to never forget what it was like to be a child. Be slow to speak, and quick to listen!
