Personal note:Using my 30+years in the Civil Engineering and Land Surveying industry, in and out of the office, as AutoCAD Technician & field survey crew member as well as my 7 years military training and Federal Law Enforcement training, I believe I can bring a good level of attention to detail to any organization. My diverse work regions and duties give me a wide view of a given project, I like to plan and design with big picture in mind, so I can offer different approaches to its successful design completion. Civil Engineering Snapshot:I started in 1990 at ITT Tech. in Portland, Oregon, where I learned board drafting and AutoCAD on Release 9. Upon completing ITT Tech. in 1992, I started my career in the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, Washington areas at which time I worked on projects in New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska & California for public works, private developers and Native American Reservations/Rancherias before moving to Orange County in Southern California due to the downturn in the economy I relocated to work for the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe as a Engineering Specialist in their Public Works Department to return to the Pacific Northwest. I have worked in Utah laying out oil field layout for wells then moved back to the Pacific Northwest.Specialties: Civil 3D,Vehicle Tracking, Earthwork, Process import or export Survey Point data from Raw Data or ASCII text files, generate contours from either field data and/or Aerial topo as well as designed topo from grading plans. Perform Land Survey using the Topcon GTE 9000 Series Robotic Total Station with the FC 2000 Data Collector and transferring data into Civil 3D. Learning Carlson 2019 & Microstation Inroads Office programsI currently work with SCJ Alliance in Lacey Washington in their Civil Engineering Department, working on a variety of projects from Public Works to Private Development as well as Indian Country.
