The office responsibilities include performing calculations, reducing, copying and filing collected data.using AutoCAD, prepare detailed drawings and exhibits from sketches, point data, specifications by written and verbal instructions. The UELS drafting department consists of 42 full-time draftsmen capable of completing projects quickly and efficiently. Documents from simple diagrams to large color maps can be printed or sent electronically in PDF format or other formats as required. Today's technology allows UELS clients, long distance or local, to have finished product in hand the day it is completed by UELS's engineering or CAD department. Provide engineering technical support to the public works director such as construction inspection, project management and engineering record keeping using AutoCAD software. (10) Provide design input to stay in compliance with the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe Water, Sewer, and site development standards. (11) Provide input related to all engineering projects to meet APWA, AWAA and WSDOT standards. (12) Attend weekly management meetings. (13) Draft correspondences to in-house and outside agencies for directors signatures. (14) Prepare monthly projects progress reports. (15) Assist Muckleshoot Utility District staff in preparing and updating all utilities customer account information.
