Currently working at Total Integrated Solutions, I am an Engineer with my main role being service. I am also at times involved in running/assisting on installation/commissioning projects.Following my promotion from Junior Service Engineer, I was also placed on the call-out rota.I am predominantly working on the West Midlands Combined Authority contract; covering the CCTV/Control Rooms, Emergency Help Points & PAVA systems at Bus/Metro/Rail stations and depots, as well as in the council areas of East Staffordshire/Solihull/Tamworth/Walsall working with a range of analogue & IP systems.I occasionally also work on the Redditch & Bromsgrove/Cannock Chase council contracts covering the CCTV & Control Rooms.I have recently also been working on other contracts that TIS maintain such as: Cadent Gas, ExtraCare, Audley Villages & Housing 21. I have mainly just worked on CCTV at the above contracts, but also done bits on access control, telephony & warden call.

I also took part in some installation works on domestic/commercial builds and commissioned the systems once they were installed.I was working on a range of contracts covering mainly CCTV, with some work on barriers.

While working at Optyma, I was an Apprentice Engineer and completed a apprenticeship in my time there, gaining a City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 in an Intruder Alarm course; I was in training to become a security engineer.I worked with many qualified engineers on major contracts covering a range of electronic security such as: CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Gates/Barriers.I was predominantly working on the London Midland contract, covering the CCTV, working with a range of analogue & IP systems, as well as maintaining & upgrading the systems too, through installation project works.I also occasionally was given my own jobs such as CCTV footage downloads and service calls. I believe that this gave me a massive boost in confidence, as I was trusted to go out on my own, while still being classed as an apprentice to rectify faults & issues, however little.

While working for Compass Services, I mainly worked at Edgbaston Cricket ground, in the executive boxes as well as the bar areas. This was a part-time job while I was completing my A-Levels.My job role mainly entailed serving customers as well as setting up the bar areas. I also had responsibility of my cash float before the start of the shift and the end, filling in all paperwork with profits taken during the day. During my time working at Edgbaston I believe that my confidence greatly increased as every shift I was working with different people & interacting with customers/staff was the main reason for this.
