🚀 I've been programming since I was 8 years old, but right now am a full-time university and full-stack developer - I study Computer Science and Applied Maths at Wilfrid Laurier University! 📚 I started off programming text-based RPG/adventure games in Batch when I was about 8 years old! Since then, I learned Java as my first programming language and started my freelance career young from around 10 years of age (don't ask how I made a PayPal account at that age 😉)🤔 My main philosophy is trying to make it easy for others to find opportunities, thus allowing them to create opportunities for others. I've followed this my entire life by creating software for others who have a great idea. I've founded, revamped, and run various organizations throughout my time as an undergrad to allow my university and national community to thrive within the tech sphere.💻 Other than that, My main interests are game development and backend software, but my freelancing career has mostly consisted of developing full-stack websites and web apps, managing systems, and a plethora of other backend services.

I achieved this by working on the Ruby on Rails backend to add and rework endpoints for this new system, which is interacted with by roughly 2000 developers daily. Lastly, I created new sections on the Shopify Partner Dashboard web app using Typescript and React that interfaces with these new endpoints. -

As well as this, I added a handful of new OAuth fixes and interactive features (using TypeScript's Enquirer library) to the official open-source Shopify CLI written in JavaScript. The CLI is used by 850 third-party applications daily. I also rewrote sections of the Shopify Partner Dashboard by converting the codebase from Ruby on Rails to JavaScript w/ React, while employing Shopify's newer design philosophy. This dashboard is used by millions of users daily.
