Worked directly with Tasiast Operations group for the purchase and delivery of new blasting drills and related consumables from various vendors. Duties and responsibilities included but were not limited to the following: liaising with the client, acquiring client requisitions, management of the tenders for various packages (including RfP and RfQ stages), evaluation of bids and subsequent recommendations, negotiation with vendors / contractors, development of purchase orders and contracts, obtaining bonds and bank guarantees, contracts administration, monitoring of all deliverables, expediting, logistics, quality assurance, negotiating change orders, conflict & dispute resolution, and implementation of close-out procedures.
