INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT-Consults, directs, and oversees competitive solicitations (e.g., Request for Proposals and Request for Information) for specific IT security technology solutions to provide protection of data, detection of a security incident, and reaction to a security incident.-Coordinates and implementation of Contractors' compliance with Board Information Technology (IT) Security Policy for data encryption of regulated data.-Consults, coordinates, directs, and implementation of the Countywide Information Security and Privacy Awareness content for the County's Learning Management System.-Performs reviews and analysis from all aspects of information security and privacy compliance and practices for department's business initiatives and/or IT projects.-Assists as the tactical consultant and planner in various areas of the Program.-Involved departmental project teams and user management.-Administers review and approval of information security operational procedures and standardsDallas, TX.

-Provides resource estimates and progress reports to management on an on-going basis.-Ensures all work is accurate and in compliance with departmental or project quality standards.-Assist clients with selecting and/or implementing ERP solutions in the Public Sector.-Assist on IT assessments including preparing and analyzing end user surveys and conduct client interviews.-Project work including process redesign, IT planning, hardware/services selection, project management.

-Business development activities including develop project scope definition, work plans and proposals.-Serve as a technical consultant to a project or a number projects dealing with area of technical expertise.-System and Service Documentation: Develops and maintains technical instructional documentation; such documentation will be intended for other IT professionals, not for training end-users. -Maintains change management documentation for tools, systems, and services, consistent with best practices and procedures established by IT management.-Perform highly specialized and technical tasks associated with the most current and cutting-edge technologies.-Coordinates with the IT Help Desk to ensure effective and timely delivery of client services through regular meetings, training and process improvement planning. -Assists with hardware operations and maintenance-Expertise is in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Cybersecurity, Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management)-Working with OFA JFS Business Group leaders in the development of delivery approaches supported by OIS
