From a young age, problem-solving has been my strength. It was this natural affinity that led me to pursue engineering, where I thrived in dissecting complex challenges and finding effective solutions. However, as I progressed through my engineering journey, I became captivated by the intricate workings of the financial world—the way markets function, how businesses scale, and how financial strategies are crafted. This newfound passion drove me to pursue the CFA, which opened doors to a deeper understanding of various finance verticals including investment banking, corporate finance, and portfolio management.Realizing that a comprehensive understanding of business was essential for my growth, I decided to pursue an MBA from IIM Mumbai, where I could blend technical expertise with strategic insight. During my summer internship at EY GDS, I had the opportunity to work as a Private Equity Advisory Intern where I contributed to a high-impact project, sourcing divestment deals for a $100 billion global private equity firm. This experience not only sharpened my technical skills but also gave me an insider's perspective on how private equity firms strategize and operate in complex markets.In parallel, I took on a live project with Finlatics, where I combined equity research with portfolio management, analyzing stock performance and optimizing a portfolio’s risk-adjusted returns, further deepening my practical knowledge in finance. These experiences have allowed me to work across a diverse range of projects—from deal origination to DCF modeling—each of which has reinforced my passion for financial analysis and strategic decision-making.With a diverse set of experiences behind me, I am now looking ahead, eager to leverage my skills in private equity, investment banking, or corporate finance. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and am always open to connecting with professionals who share my enthusiasm for the finance industry.
