I've recently finished my Masters at Johns Hopkins University in Individualized Health and Genomics, with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Theatre Minor from Johns Hopkins University. I am a very dedicated and compassionate individual who is eager to learn hands-on and work in the healthcare field. Past work experience includes working as a lab assistant at Li Ka Shing Cancer Specialty Center at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong, and at the Deweese Prostate Cancer Research Lab in Baltimore. I have also done a summer internship at Philips Lighting in Hong Kong and another summer job as a Manager for Summer Conferences in Baltimore. I was a residential advisor at Johns Hopkins University for 2 years. These experiences reaffirmed my passion for helping others and reinforced my motivations to work in the healthcare field.Furthermore, I have had many different types of jobs in different countries which has forced me to quickly adapt and become proficient with new skills, software and practices and also appreciate cultural differences. In my recent roles I have worked on large data analysis projects, run a summer office successfully for 3 months and I have experience and knowledge of the healthcare field through school, research, and shadowing over the past 5 years.
