I am a motivated chemical engineering graduate from University of Edinburgh and Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. I am currently continuing my journey for sustainable chemical engineering and renewable energy at Johns Hopkins University. The reason I am studying in different continents (I went to undergrad in South Korea originally) is to build a strong network with like-minded scientists both in academia and industry, who believe that they can make a positive influence on the environment for our future generation.I am co-advised by a zeolite expert and a simulation expert. My aim of combining the two fields was to gain broad and comprehensive understanding of material synthesis for separations with the aid of computational science as DFT.
