Responsible for all aspects of the accounting functions of the Company. Priorities include cash management, financial reporting, ad hoc operational reports preparation, employee benefit plan management and tax coordination with outside CPA firm.

Accounting consulting services ranging from proxy work, budgeting and account reconciliation to benefits services such as 401(k) testing and match calculation, pension census and reporting requirements, executive compensation issues and insurance analysis.

 Responsible for the accounting and control functions of the Company and reporting the results of operations. This included the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements, operating reports and ad hoc reports.  Responsible for month end and year end closings. Established and administered sales tax policies, procedures and compliance. Evaluated nexus in multiple states. Registered Company in 14 states. Responsible for federal and multi-state income tax return preparation. Coordinated the work paper preparation and tax return review with Big 4 accounting firm. Coordinated any financial audit activities. This included state and local tax audits, insurance audits and financial statement audits. Acted as a Trustee to the Company's 401(k) plan; oversaw all compliance of such plan; worked closely with investment advisor and third party administrator. Evaluated and administered royalty and licensing agreements for all licensed products. This included both physical and online products. Maintained and accounted for all income related to subscription revenue from the Company's Learning Management System (LMS) product. Analyzed and recorded all deferred revenue related to such. Supervised and evaluated the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Information Systems and Human Resource departments. Responsible for five employees. Direct report to Vice President, Finance. Experience with MAS 90/200 and FRx.
