I was responsible for the production readiness of new product development for the Camera Motion Systems (CMS) team. In this role, I worked with software, electronics and mechanical engineers to new robotics products to the live video production markets. I worked with manufacturing to ensureensure manufacturing readiness. I also directly managed a Product Verifcation team as well as a Technical Writing team. I was also responsible for the project management of several robotics projects within CMS portfolioIn the R&D development phase of projects, I worked with development teams to make sure that NPI processes were followed. I provided project management support and tracked project schedules, resourcing and risks. I helped to implement new Agile processes to support both software and hardware development.In the release execution phase of projects, I was responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams in development, product verification, engineering services, compliance, manufacturing and support to meet release schedules. Post-release, I continued to monitor and support these teams to address comissioning, support and product improvement activities.As part of the CMS management team, I worked with MPM's on product management plans. This included scheduling and resourcing activities to support new features, opportunities and customer issues.I directly managed a team of product verification specialists responsible for software, hardware, integration and automated testing. The team was responsible for contunious testing throughout the development process as well as for final product verification prior to product release. The team was also responsible for running and supporting the robotics lab. I managed lab activities, safety and resource availability. As part of my release-readiness role, I also directly managed the CMS technical writing team, helping to deliver quality documentation and external communications.

I managed the innovation, development and manufacturing on Canopy’s User Technology & Design Team. Our goal was to differentiate Canopy by introducing technologies that improve initial user experience, usability, peronalization, safety and regulatory compliance. I worked with engineering teams in various spaces including web and mobile software development, embedded software development, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering and industrial design to help deliver innovative products in the consumer and medical markets. I managed relationships with overseas contract manufacturers and third party equipment manufacturers. I also collaborated with internal Canopy groups including operations, scientific development, procurement, legal, marketing and commercialization to manage new market opportunities and risks.

I helped to lead the evolution from of the market-leading Qlik Sense analytics on-premise software tool to a SaaS platform. I have led and worked with DevOps, product managers, marketing, user experience, product design, cloud operations/site reliability engineers, quality engineers development managers, architects and developers to deliver the most effective solutions for our BI customers.In my other role as Development Manager, I lead a team responsible for critical identity management services of our cloud architecture. I was the project manager for analytics and business intelligence solutions with a focus on the Cyber and Public Safety vertical. In this vertical, I worked with operations and analyst groups in various policing, intelligence, defence and security departments and agencies. These projects incorporated a wide variety of analytic technologies including data fusion, statistical analysis and reporting as well as open source intelligence. I have also worked with other Public Sector agencies across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, social services and revenue. In addition, I have managed several projects in the private sector in a wide range of verticals including retail, banking and insurance. These projects involved analytic technologies including fraud detection, data integration, forecasting, statistical analysis and reporting.In my role, I was involved in the sale, project management and support of various Professional Services engagements.
