I am currently an English Teaching Assistant for TAPIF France, where I work with French middle and high schoolers to improve all aspects of their English abilities and broaden their knowledge of American history and culture. I plan lessons and work in small groups with students to help them feel more confident expressing themselves in English. My area of academic and professional background is primarily based in Eastern Europe and the Middle East with a particular focus on Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Israel-Palestine, Iraq, Iran, and the Gulf States. My additional interests include hybrid warfare, illiberalism & authoritarianism, transatlantic institutions, and modern-day migration. Previously I was a Junior Fellow and Executive Assistant at the Middle East Policy Council (MEPC) where I handled administrative matters and event coordination. In the past, I was a Government Affairs Intern at Saudi Aramco and a Diplomatic Intern at the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Representation in the United States.
