Worked as a Graduate Research Assistant on the Global Water Futures project where I communicated with project and community members, completed a variety of research tasks and participated in various community projects in the Northwest Territories.

I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant on the Northwest Territories Water Systems Project, where I collected, organized and processed large amounts of climate and terrain data. I was also involved with communicating with community members in the Northwest Territories and organizing multiple excursions to the Northwest Territories to collect snow survey data. This role included multiple presentations to community members in Yellowknife as well as the Village of Wekweètì, NT.

As a teaching assistant at Wilfrid Laurier, I developed lab material to instruct students on course material which was centred around Geographical Information Systems (GIS), data management and geomorphological processes (e.g, hydrology and geomorphology) as well as sustainable practices and ideology. Course topics include Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Building effective communication skills, Spatial Analysis, Hydrology, data management as well as general course load management and preparing for midterms and final exams through providing extra help sessions and extend office hours.

As a conservation analyst, I provided GIS and scientific expertise to many ongoing conservation goals (Caribou conservation projects, land use management projects and protected area planning). I aided and directed strategic input on conservation plans with various stakeholders and industry groups (e.g., Forest management companies, Government of Alberta and Indigenous groups). My role also required support towards our organization's public education efforts, which included briefing our Executive director on relative issues ahead of meetings, campaigning for protected area designations and engaging with school children on climate change.
