Owning and Operating the Capacity Evaluation Program within Capacity Engineering and Analysis at Salesforce.When I joined Salesforce, the Capacity Evaluation program was a nascent engineering program, with little oversight and no full-time staff. By my departure, the capacity evaluation program was servicing hundreds of clients, including the most strategic and important customers at salesforce. The program scaled into a team of two, with a contractor reporting directly to me. Together, we provided our customers with direct insights on the status of salesforce servers, both third party and first party. We partnered with a diverse set of engineering teams to optimize, investigate, and support customers through their busiest peak critical business events. The Capacity Evaluation program grew to be viewed as an important measure in protecting infrastructure and customer trust, reporting regularly to VP, and occasionally CXO level stakeholders to positive reviews. I owned all aspects of the program including the analysis, delivery, customer meetings, internal and external relationship management, reporting, and acting as a product manager for the efforts to automate and build tools for the program.

Solving cool problems with cool people.I have used skills including SQL, R, and Excel to answer complex economic questions and prepare expert witnesses for testimony. I have worked on cases in areas such as consumer product marketing, pharmaceuticals, insurance, and finance. In a case involving involving alleged misleading financial documents, I used R to create a rolling regression style event study to examine the impact of alleged misstatements on stock returns. I also used R to conduct structural break tests, and generate charts and graphs for use in testimony. On multiple projects I have been exposed to manipulation of "big data", particularly healthcare data. Using SQL and R, I have cleaned multiple large datasets for use in pricing analysis and production in litigation. I also participated in the creation of the internal guide for manipulating healthcare claims at Cornerstone, authoring the portion on data cleaning and manipulation. On a large healthcare merger, I used R and SQL to execute a regression based prediction of post-merger healthcare prices using insurance data for use in testimony. In a project involving consumer marketing, I analyzed and tracked various social media metrics for large consumer brands using various tools, and presented analysis of social media growth using charts created in excel. On this case, I helped manage budgeting, as well as drafting and revising documents and analysis for use in testimony. I lead a team of analysts to complete charts, tables, and economic analysis for use in testimony for a large technology company for use in litigation regarding anti-trust concerns surrounding online marketplaces. In a similar case, I worked in response to FTC concerns regarding marketplace owners and price manipulation.

Developed an internal model to rank and understand the performance of various funds around the globe on various sustainability metrics, including completion of the TCFD recommendations. The recommendations generated by this model were presented to the CIO, who used it to shape future investment strategies. Proposed a change in carbon offsetting strategy, leading to a significant increase in the budget for internal sustainability, with CEO approval.
