Working in collaboration with the Institute of Cancer Research to develop instrumentation and 3D image analysis methods for high content screening of cancer cell metastasis.Modified the Oblique Plane Microscope (OPM, a variant on light sheet microscopy) to allow long term live cell imaging.Applied this system to high content, high resolution 3D imaging. Analysed 4 TB of image data by performing 3D cell segmentation and analysis using Matlab code developed as part of this work.Improved data handling conventions to allow the reliable storage of large datasets (4 TB/experiment) including installing a new server and writing a guide for best practice.Performing instrument development to achieve higher throughputs.Side project, in collaboration with Astra Zeneca, to investigate high content 3D microscopy for drug discovery.Provide laser safety training to new lab users.Continually supports other ongoing projects on this system working with post docs and PhD students
