CurrentProvide direction and leadership in the development of programs and services, whichadvance opportunities for growth. increasing access to contracts and other opportunities forminority and women businesses in the City of St Louis.Evaluate programs’ effectiveness and measure the impact of services providedProvide counseling or e-counseling that includes feasibility, financial, regulatory, andoperational guidance and technical assistance on the various aspects of starting andexpanding a successful small business.Foster a strong environment for small business growth by providing in-depth, confidential, no-cost business counseling, no- to low-cost training, resources and referral services for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.Provide guidance on expansion to include employment requirements, foreign markets,government contracting, and technology commercialization.Troubleshoot to identify problems and areas for improvement.Facilitate potential project opportunities and strategic initiatives for small businesses, residents, and community partners. Communicates with staff, residents, and contract providers, vendors, and other city and government agencies to meet the goals share outcomes and the successes of the center.
