My role was to bring the most talented tech people to work together and build a technological community behind Kiwi.com.I helped support, introduce, and connect our internal engineering community with the relevant people for hiring. This was done by organizing, supporting, and promoting educational, networking, and entertainment events. During the last two years, we organized more than 200 events in 23 countries, with the following employer branding impact:91% of new hires for the Engineering department knew code.kiwi.com channels15% of new hires for the Engineering department had their first point of contact through our activities700+ people who wanted to be contacted by HR came through our channels I was also responsible for:- Co-defining the community engagement strategy- Discovering new territories to open our devs office- Planning and organizing local and international IT events (hackathons, meetups, workshops, conferences)- Designing the candidate experience and Kiwi.com presence at conferences and events- IT product management for the Kiwi.com Academy – an educational program for junior developers- Advocating Kiwi.com technologies- Maintaining strong relationships with external tech communities- Coordinating the work of interns, volunteers, and external vendors on larger activities.- Arranging venues and negotiating fees.- Analyzing project success and preparing reports.- Coordinating promotion for community activities with the Marketing department, vendors, and influencers.
