Benefits Workstation - BW is the system used by NRECA which provides functionality needed for the management and administration of the Cooperatives and their benefit plans. It mainly administers group insurance. The system has details of all the coops, subgroups and people whether they have Group Insurance or not. Designated internal NRECA users are able to administer insurance and retirement benefits and plans for Cooperatives and individual participant elections. Mainframe Legacy Application Services – It is primarily a legacy modernization project. The focus of the project is to ensure that migrated applications should deliver the same results as existing applications. In Mainframe, the data is in Datacom and VSAM files. The four applications basically comprise the information related to Capital Programs in CMIS, Asset Maintenance History in MARS, Inventory and Material Safety in MMS and Historical Payment Information in GEAC. The data from the CMIS, MARS, MMS and GEAC applications is being migrated using the following two-pronged approach:1. Re-hosting the mainframe applications (screens) and data as is to a Windows/AIX format using MicroFocus (Frontend) and Oracle (backend). Reports from CMIS and GEAC will be migrated on Crystal reports.2. Migrating the data to a standardized archival and retrieval system on an open system architecture using IBM’s Optim data lifecycle management tool● Developed Testing Completion Status, Issues Status and Defect Status in various grids like Open vs. Closed defects, Fixed defects %, Priority Status % only for Open Defects, Detailed Status for total defects every day during the testing phase of the project to the project team members.● Developed various templates such as Test Execution Matrix, Defect Report Matrix, Defect Reporting Template, Testing Meeting Status Template and UAT Sign off Template.● Organized and verified log in credentials for Testers, Technical programmers and End users for MicroFocus server using TN3270 terminal and Crystal Reports.● Organized UAT testing by providing users the required information in an email and follow ups thereafter.● Provided set of all the Testing related documents like various matrixes, reports, templates, Code delivery sign off docs, Build Acceptance Testing Docs, System Acceptance Testing Docs and UAT sign off forms etc. to the client at the end of the project.

DocuMart – The application developed & maintained by CTIS is used by CTEP (Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program) to author, review & publish the oncology protocols. The Docu-MART Project was created to develop a system of software applications (web/desktop) to assist in the authoring, review, and tracking of clinical trial protocol documents. The application is planned to assist in reducing the administrative burden of protocol development so that investigators can focus on scientific integrity and reduce the time between concept approval to protocol approval. The project has various modules like Publish, Scientific Library, Review & Commenting, Tasks and Inbox. ● Developed Requirement Traceability Matrix for each project assigned to and developed timeline with project team and ensured that all requirements are mapped in the Rational Test Manager.● Participated in Critical Application Review meetings in order to ensure that changes requested by the client were incorporated into the product. ● Tracked, Detected and Reported bugs using Rational Clear Quest. ● Conducted Accessible Design Testing as per Section 508 Compliance.● Lead the team to review the Test Results for the Full System and Final System Test cycle.● Executed the test cases and logged defects found, in the Rational Clear Quest. Also worked with developers during scrub calls to ensure that the defects are being addressed. ● Involved in the QA process improvement initiative undertaken to move towards standardizing the testing process. E-Billing System - This project is aimed to provide a solution of unified billing to the residential customers who use multiple services such as long distance, cable, internet, Mobile Phone and other broadband services. This project contains two parts. The first part is identification of such customers and building an initial load for the new enterprise database. The second part consists of calculation of combined bill for the services, bill generation and preventing bill generation for these customers by the other individual systems.
