The interim VBA database has shown a reduction in forecasting prediction time by six days per month, a savings of 75%.Worked with the Project Controls Managers, Area Project Manager, and the Federal Project Director to report the project’s Earned Value and overall status to the Federal Oversight and the Principal Associate Director for the laboratory. The project had an earned value of $120 million, was ahead of schedule, and $16 million under budget.

Created a predictive project forecasting tool, custom tailored to Vigor Nuclear’s workflow. This tool was used across multiple projects and dramatically increased the accuracy of the project forecasts by utilizing a predictive algorithm for project status and completion. Additionally, the tool found inconsistencies in the fabrication of the components and uncovered five unknown defects in the fabrication process, saving an estimated 7.5 days.
